If you&#8217;re looking for an opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a fast-paced and innovative industry, this role is for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active engagement in performing month-end close activities for the global entity, including preparing and posting of journal entries and timely completion of account reconciliations and support schedules<\/li>\n<li>Complete day-to-day accounting tasks, including posting entries, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Assist with complex accounting matters, including comingled and intercompany inventory transactions, lease and fixed asset accounting, intangible assets, and consolidation<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and present financial and other information clearly, in oral and written format, to senior management, auditors, and other internal and external customers<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and best practices<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a continuous improvement approach and professional skepticism mindset to improve the integrity of financial records, ERP, financial reporting and internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Perform analysis and generate analytical reports using micro and macro level data<\/li>\n<li>Assist external auditors and tax preparers in interim and annual audits and tax filings<\/li>\n<li>Support team members in the accounting department and other cross-functional teams<\/li>\n<li>Perform special projects and ad hoc requests as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education\/Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in accounting or finance<\/li>\n<li>CPA or active pursuit of CPA certification<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, with a track record of value-added accomplishments and increased responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical and practical knowledge of GAAP accounting and familiarity with three statement model<\/li>\n<li>Highest standard for integrity, accuracy and meeting deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; advanced knowledge of Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a Corporate Accountant for a chemical company specializing in surfactant-based solutions and custom batch formulations, serving world-leading consumer brands and industrial enterprise.
